Found a good book about one mans search of different world spiritual/religious practices to improve and quiet the mind.
It's by John Coleman, a CIA agent after the Korean War, whose hobby was researching the religious practices of countries he was working in. When his cover is blown, he retires and start looking in earnest for the best way to quiet the mind. His travels take him all over the world, including (but not limited to) places like Burma, India, and Thailand. I found it a good read. I've included a link to the website that practices the type of meditation that he decides he likes best, and to which he even becomes a teacher. The title of the book is The Quiet Mind and you can upload it for free, although you might choose to pay for it, to support a good cause. Enjoy.
Been trucking since 96. My main interest is having a good healthy life.
