One of the perks of driving long haul is being able to spend your down time in places that you'd never see, or normally would have to go on vacation and spend money to see. I got to spend an extra day in Lethbridge AB Canada. Glad I invested in a Nikon camera a number of years back. You certainly don't need an expensive camera to take excellent photo's.
The plains of Alberta are amazing in the fall. Blue sky and moisture laden clouds taking turns. I felt fortunate I didn't get rained on during my hike.
Just for fun I shot this of some high prairie clover. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get this close up photo with my 55-200 telephoto lens.
Been trucking since 96. My main interest is having a good healthy life.
